Yes, we warranty all our work for 1 year, including workmanship and materials. Some items may actually carry a longer warranty.
We try to take all the worry out of your home renovation/development, but patience is required. We are professionals and things are often done in a certain order or a certain fashion for a reason. Will your house get a little dusty or dirty – yes (We will continually tidy up after ourselves and complete a Final Clean once the project is complete). Is it possible that there will be delays – yes (We strive to eliminate or minimize these). The bottom line is that there are some things that will be beyond anyone’s control. However, we can assure you that if there is a concern, we will take care of it to your satisfaction.
After the plans have been finalized and all permits approved and received, we generally start right away. Within a day or two is most common, provided we have good access to the work site.
Yes, we are fully insured for all our projects and scopes of work. We also carry WCB coverage and we’re bonded.
Great question! We’ll need to answer this in two parts; exterior work and interior work. For exterior work, given the climate in Southern Alberta, it’s most cost-effective and timely to complete exterior work in late Spring, Summer and early Fall. While it is possible to do this work in late Fall, Winter and early Spring, costs generally rise due to concrete additives, heating-hoarding, extra site preparation etc. For interior work, time of year is generally not an issue. However, material suppliers and trades-people are generally less busy in the Winter than in other seasons, so it’s more likely to secure work quicker and sometimes at a lower cost.
